Department of Surgery Receives Two SEED Grant Awards

Senior investigators David H. Berger, MD, MHCM, Panos Kougias, MD, MSc, and Sherene Sharath, PhD, MPH in the Department of Surgery’s iNSPIRe initiative received seed grant funding of $80,000 for two grants: (1) examining the epidemiology of Long COVID-19 in a national cohort of high-risk surgical patients, and (2) comparing operating room scheduling efficiency using predictive versus traditional models in the SUNY DSHSU system.
