Chief Resident Matches to Trauma and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship

The Department of Surgery is excited to announce that one of the chief residents, Christopher Demaree, MD, has matched into trauma and surgical critical care fellowship at the University of Miami’s Ryder Trauma Hospital. The two-year fellowship provides advanced training in operative and management of critically ill surgical patients.

Hailing from Houston, Texas, Dr. Demaree completed his undergraduate work at University of Pennsylvania, followed by his medical education at Tulane University School of Medicine prior to moving to Brooklyn for his surgical residency. Please join us in wishing Dr. Demaree the best with all his future endeavors.
