iNSPIRe Research Selected for Presentation at AVAS Annual Conference
By iNSPIRe Initiative | Mar 1, 2023
The scholarly work of the Department of Surgery’s research residents was selected for presentation at the annual meeting of the Association of VA Surgeons (AVAS) in Madison, Wisconsin. Through the iNSPIRe collaborative, Dr. Tomás Daviú Molinari will present his findings on in-hospital mortality after endovascular versus open approaches in management of ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysms. Dr. Erfan Faridmoayer will showcase his work assessing risks of renal and lower extremity complications on in-hospital mortality following aortic valve replacement.
The annual AVAS conference highlights the significant achievement of surgical scientists from across the nation who are active investigators within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital System. Please join us in congratulating our residents on this outstanding achievement.
