Research Fellowship Announcement | Dr. Solomon Seckler

The SUNY Downstate Department of Surgery is excited to announce that Dr. Solomon Seckler, current PGY-3 Downstate General Surgery resident, will be commencing a plastic surgery research fellowship this July with the University of Pittsburg’s Department of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Seckler will be studying the application of artificial intelligence to advance plastic surgery outcomes. Dr. Seckler also plans to stay closely engaged with the SUNY Downstate Department of Surgery’s iNSPIRe , where he is interested in researching plastic surgery outcomes and disparities as well as value-based care.
