Dr. Marla Sacks Presents at the European Union Paediatric Surgical Association Congress

The SUNY Downstate Department of Surgery Congratulates Marla Sacks, MD on presenting, “Preoperarive Discussions: Quality Improvement Project to Promote Diversity and Inclusion.” Dr. Sacks presented at the 26th European Union Paediatric Surgical Association Congress in Dubrovnik, Croatia. EUPSA is one of the world’s largest pediatric surgical associations, dedicated to advancing high standards of care and supporting research, education, collaboration, and training in pediatric surgery across Europe and internationally. Dr. Francisca Velcek, MD, FACS is a member of the Assocation and served as the senior advisor on the project.
