The SUNY Downstate Department of Surgery proudly congratulates Drs. Ashley Ramirez, Nuley Seo, and Solomon Seckler on their induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA) is a national medical honor society. It is dedicated to recognizing high educational achievement, honoring gifted teaching, encouraging the development of leaders in academia and the community, supporting the ideals of humanism, and promoting service to others. Membership reflects a commitment to excellence and integrity in medicine. Members are nominated based on a holistic review of merit, leadership, professionalism, and service.
