The HealthBridge Group is responsible for the implementation and maintenance, of the clinical documentation system in the inpatient and ambulatory settings. We provide end user training as well as 24 x 7, application support to all clinical and ancillary users.

From the following you may access the facilities Quick Reference Guides (QRG's).

Healthbridge provides a mobile app called Sunrise Mobile, allowing you to view your patients medical records such as Results, Documents, Allergies, Problems, Orders, Flowsheets and more on your personal and downstate issued devices. 

Instructions for installation

Personal devices: Requries encryption

  1. Sign the Encryption Form
  2. Install the Microsoft Intunes Enryption on your device
  3. Send the signed Encrytion Form along with the device model and serial number to Help@downstate.edu requesting the Sunrise Mobile app to be installed on your personal device
  4. Once we receive your request, it will take 24hrs for the Sunrise Mobile app to be installed and configured on your device

Downstate Issued devices: Encryption already installed

  1. Send an email to Help@downstate.edu requesting the sunrise mobile app to be installed. Please provide the device model and serial number
  2. Once we receive your request, it will take 24hrs for the Sunrise Mobile app to be installed and configured on your device

Training Materials

PatientKeeper delivers a unique provider-friendly user experience, which pulls in information from our hospital’s EMR system Healthbridge. PatientKeeper is not bi-directional, so it does not feed information back to Healthbridge, only Healthbridge feeds information to PatientKeeper. Providers can send secure messages about their patient’s care using the built in messaging system. PatientKeeper also provides a Sign-Out feature that improves communication and workflow between physicians at the transition of care. Physicians save time, while avoiding missed tasks or overlooking crucial patient information that needs to be passed along at shift changes. Sign-Out provides a continuity of care that facilitates faster discharges, enhances patient safety, and aids compliance with Joint Commission patient safety requirements.
