Global Health Club
The Global Health Club is a forum for students who are interested in global health to share ideas and resources. We aim to increase awareness of global health issues and opportunities to study or work abroad for the larger body of students at SUNY Downstate.
Why is global health important and why is it important at Downstate?
As the world becomes increasingly interconnected both people and disease can travel more freely across state and country borders. The diversity of our surrounding community, and the City of New York, make awareness of global health issues a requirement for providing adequate healthcare to our patients.
