Jane Brody to Speak at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University on End of Life Issues

Brooklyn, NY - New York Times columnist Jane Brody will be speaking at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University on Thursday, September 17, at 8:30 a.m. Her topic is “Preparing for the End of Life Is as Important as Preserving It.”

The recipient of many honors and awards, including an honorary degree from the State University of New York, Ms. Brody writes the weekly “Personal Health” column in The New York Times.

Ms. Brody will speak as part of the Department of Medicine’s Grand Rounds program. Following her remarks, she will be signing copies of her new book, Jane Brody’s Guide to the Great Beyond.

Please note: the location of Medicine Grand Rounds, featuring New York Times columnist Jane Brody, has been changed to the Alumni Auditorium. The book signing following Grand Rounds will be held in the Atrium
