Saturday 9/9: Downstate to Host 2nd Annual Community Healthy Lifestyle Fair

Community event to provide free vital health screenings & other lifestyle resources free of charge
Brooklyn, NY – On Saturday, September 9, The University Hospital at Downstate and the Residency Programs Coordinators Forum (RPCF) at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Health Sciences University will host the 2nd Annual Community Health Lifestyle Fair.
Attendees will gain valuable insights into healthy lifestyle medicine through a comprehensive program featuring informative presentations, vital health checks such as blood pressure assessments, breast and prostate cancer screenings, pediatric evaluations, vision assessments, serum blood tests, access to a wide array of community resources, yoga sessions, cooking demonstrations, and much more. Children will receive backpacks and supplies for the upcoming year. These offerings will be provided by esteemed UHD physicians and dedicated ancillary staff members.

The Community Healthy Lifestyle Fair is a free community event, sponsored by the Physicians of University Hospital at Downstate (UHD) and Residency Program Coordinators Forum (RPCF) in collaboration with the Offices of Graduate Medical Education, Government Relations and Strategic Planning in conjunction with the Diversity Equity Inclusion House Staff Council, and the Brooklyn Children's Society.
