A lack of regular access to food is an issue that plagues approximately half of today’s college student’s according to a recent study. This is true for graduate and professional students. To combat this, New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo committed that New York State would be the first state in the nation to have a comprehensive program to combat student hunger. We are proud to a part of that effort here at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University! Your donation provides critically needed non-perishable food and other essentials for our community.
