May is a time to recognize the importance of mental health, emotional well-being, and self-care. As we observe Mental Health Awareness Month, it serves as a reminder that taking care of our mental and emotional health is just as important as caring for our physical health. Daily responsibilities, workplace demands, and personal stressors can sometimes feel overwhelming, but even small acts of self-care, connection, rest, and mindfulness can positively impact overall well-being.  Remember, seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.  Take time this month to check in with yourself and others because your well-being matters.

Wellness Group

May OMH

The Wellness Group is a supportive space designed to promote the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of all employees.  Whether you are looking to manage stress, build resilience, or simply take a moment for yourself, this group offers a welcoming environment to connect, share, and grow.   Sessions may include mindfulness practices, wellness discussions, stress reduction strategies, deep breathing, and more.  Group sessions offer a warm, inviting space that fosters relaxation virtually and provides examples of calming techniques and basic coping skills. Remember that the mind and body are one, and psychological health is just as important as physical health to your overall well-being. The group sessions are free, confidential, and anonymous, and virtual employees can call in from any phone.  All employees are welcome to join, and no registration is necessary.
