Events and Activities
The SUNY Downstate Resident Forum provides a platform for trainees in all programs (residents and fellows) to freely and openly discuss issues, express concerns and share ideas. Co-Chairs of the Committee are peer-selected by representatives from each program and report issues to the GME Committee. While each department/program is expected to identify peer-selected representatives to attend, any and all residents and fellows from all of Downstate's programs are encouraged to attend if interested or to discuss concerns.
The Forum is generally on the second or third Wednesday of each month from 12:30-1:30 pm and is currently held over ZOOM. The GMEC is the same day from 2:00-4:00 pm and is currently held over ZOOM. For more information please contact Ms. Denise Chung in the GME office at (718) 221-5344.
