Eyelid or Facial Spasm (blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm)

Blepharospasm

Blepharospasm - is a benign twitching / spasm of the eyelids of both eyes. The spasms can be exacerbated by fatigue and stress and disappear while sleeping.

Hemifacial spasm

Hemifacial spasm - is uncontrolled twitching / spasm on one side of the face.

Blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm can be treated effectively with in office neurotoxin (Botox) injections.
