Housing Application for Incoming Students
Housing applications, as well as room rates, are mailed to students with their admissions package upon acceptance to SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University.
All SUNY Downstate students are eligible to live in the residence halls, including medical, nursing, and graduate students, as well as students in the Master of Public Health program and the College of Health Related Professions.
The proximity of the residence halls to the hospital, the Basic Science Building, and the library supports your success at Downstate by giving you more time to focus on academics. In addition to being convenient, the residence halls are clean, safe, and vibrant, located directly across from the Student Center.
