Good luck to the general surgery residents taking the American Board of Surgery In-Training Exam (ABSITE)!
The Department of Surgery is offering faculty-led rapid fire review sessions in the
weeks preceding the ABSITE to help residents prepare for this important annual standardized
exam.
The ABSITE exam is a 250-question multiple choice test administered over two 2.5 hours
blocks to surgery residents each year. It is a formative exam to help program directors
assess trainee progress in knowledge of general surgery applied science and management
of clinical problems. The content is aligned with SCORE Curriculum. Learn more at:
