Children's Hospital at Downstate

The Children's Hospital at Downstate has a long history of leadership in pediatric care, education and research. Each year thousands of children are brought to the Children's Hospital at Downstate. Through our ambulatory and community service programs, our pediatric emergency room and our extensive faculty of pediatric sub-specialists, our physicians are here to improve the health care and quality of life for Brooklyn children and their families.

The range of services available at the Children's Hospital at Downstate encompasses virtually every pediatric sub-specialty. We provide the most sophisticated, state-of-the-art medical care available for Brooklyn children who suffer from acute or chronic medical and surgical problems. As faculty members of Brooklyn's only medical school, our doctors take pride in their role as teachers of medical students, residents and fellows. These same faculty members serve as an important consulting and referral resource for our physician colleagues, pediatricians and other child health providers throughout Brooklyn.
