Bernadette Selby
Deputy CFO & Senior Associate Vice President Finance
Mrs. Selby is the Deputy CFO & Senior Assoc. Vice President of Finance charged with oversight of the Financial and Treasury functions of the Campus Finance Division. Reporting directly to the Campus Chief Financial Officer, her role includes the management of Accounts Payable, Banking, Bursar, Credit Card Services (PCard / TCard / NETCard), Payroll; Resident Life/Dormitory Services & Nursing Resident management.
Mrs. Selby is also the Treasurer of the Health Sciences Center of Brooklyn Foundation in charge of Financial; Investment, Real Estate and General operations of the Foundation.
Her leadership includes the review of critical protocols and operations to promote enhanced efficiencies. She ensures that the Financial Division satisfies a standard of excellence, executing its services to the Downstate Community professionally and responsively in compliance with SUNY, State and Federal Regulations.

Senior Associate VP/Deputy CFO for Hospital Finance
Oversees all financial matters directly related to the University Hospital at Downstate, Downstate at Bay Ridge and UHD at Long Island College Hospital. The department includes: Hospital Accounting, Budgeting, Reimbursement, Inpatient, Physician Compensation and Managed Care and Outpatient Business Offices.
