SPRINTER

SPRINTER  is a 6-week undergraduate summer program that enhances and strengthen the undergraduate pipeline programs to research by recruiting URM undergraduate students from the City University of New York (CUNY) and the State University of New York systems. SPRINTER provides undergraduate students with research experiences in basic science, public health, and neighborhood-based research emphasizing health and wellness.

SPRINTER includes:

• Research methodology skills
• Hands-on research
• Discussions on social determinants of health
• Networking opportunities
• Neighborhood engagement and outreach opportunities
• Training in basic science techniques
