Central Receiving

The Laboratory Central Receiving Service at University Hospital at Downstate, operates 24 hrs/seven day a week including holidays. STATS and Routine patient specimen are received, logged into the LIS (Laboratory Information System) and distributed to the appropriate clinical laboratory areas for testing.
