Event Highlights Services for the Community 

SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is holding a health fair Saturday, June 19, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at SUNY Downstate at Bay Ridge, 699 92nd Street, at the corner of Seventh Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11228.

The health fair highlights the Bay Ridge facility’s newly renovated Urgent Care Center. SUNY Downstate at Bay Ridge also provides endoscopy, diagnostic radiology, CT scan, bone densitometry, and laboratory services.  

At the health fair, screenings will be available for asthma, blood pressure, body mass, cholesterol, blood sugar, height and weight, HIV, lead, glaucoma, vision, and pregnancy. There will also be prostate screenings, clinical breast exams, PAP tests, and information about hearing loss, as well as refreshments and giveaways.
