SUNY Downstate Honors Its Extraordinary Women
Mar 17, 2010
In celebration of Women's History Month, SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is honoring twenty women – one for every workday in March – for their dedication and accomplishments.
This year, the theme of Women's History Month is to recognize the diverse achievements of women throughout history. The Extraordinary Women of Downstate exemplify that diversity. From the Department of Public Safety to the Department of Medicine, they have all reached above and beyond in their workplace and their communities.
Nominations were solicited from across the campus. The twenty women selected will be honored at a luncheon on March 22.
