Daily Hospital Resident Rotation Shuttle Service

Please see below for the routes and operating hours of all shuttle services available to SUNY DHSU employees, faculty, residents, and students, Monday through Friday, except major holidays. Passengers using the hospital resident rotation shuttle service should arrive at their pickup location at least five minutes before the scheduled departure time. All passengers must present their SUNY DHSU ID card for scanning each time they board a shuttle. Departure and arrival times may vary due to traffic, weather, emergencies, or other operational needs.

Maimonides Hospital Shuttle Only—AM: 

Departs at 5:15 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. from both 445 and 395 Lenox Road. The shuttle drops off and picks up passengers in front of the hospital’s main entrance at 4802 10th Avenue.

Brookdale Hospital Shuttle—AM: 

Departs at 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. from 445 and 395 Lenox Road and travels to the hospital entrance at 1 Brookdale Plaza.

Mount Sinai Hospital & South Brooklyn Health (Coney Island Hospital)—AM: 

Departs at 6:15 a.m. from 395 Lenox Road. The shuttle stops at Mount Sinai Hospital, located at 3201 Kings Highway, before continuing to its final stop at South Brooklyn Health (Coney Island Hospital), located at 2601 Ocean Parkway. The shuttle departs South Brooklyn Health (Coney Island Hospital) at 7:30 a.m. and returns to campus.

Brooklyn VA Hospital & Maimonides Hospital—Three Daily Round Trips: 

Departs at 6:20 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. from 445 and 395 Lenox Road. Times may vary due to traffic, weather, emergencies, or operational needs. Return shuttles from the Brooklyn VA Hospital to SUNY DHSU’s main campus generally depart at 7:20 a.m., 1:15 p.m., and 5:15 p.m.

  • Please call at least one hour before the scheduled departure time to confirm all Maimonides Hospital pickups and drop-offs. Passengers may call 718-270-2626, 718-270-4051/4058, or 929-295-2019. Afternoon Maimonides pickups returning to campus are scheduled for approximately 1:30–1:45 p.m. and 5:30–5:45 p.m.

Brookdale Hospital Shuttle—PM Pickup Only: 

Pickup service is available from 12:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Passengers must call in advance to request and confirm pickup service. Please call 718-270-2626, 718-270-4051/4058, or 929-295-2019.

Mount Sinai Hospital—PM Pickup Only: 

Departs Mount Sinai Hospital, located at 3201 Kings Highway, at 4:15 p.m. and returns to campus.

South Brooklyn Health (Coney Island Hospital)—PM Pickup Only: 

Departs South Brooklyn Health (Coney Island Hospital), located at 2601 Ocean Parkway, at 5:45 p.m. and returns to campus.

Mount Sinai Hospital—Drop-Off Only and Brooklyn VA Hospital—PM Round Trip: 

Departs campus at 7:20 p.m., stops at Mount Sinai Hospital for passenger drop-off, and then continues to the Brooklyn VA Hospital. The shuttle departs the Brooklyn VA Hospital at 8:20 p.m. and returns to campus.

Transportation Hubs and Parking Lot Shuttle—AM:

On-demand service is available from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. To request transportation, please call 718-270-2626.

Parking Lot Shuttle—PM: 

From 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., parking lot shuttles depart from 450 and 470 Clarkson Avenue every 15 minutes and travel to the parking lot at 600 Albany Avenue. The shuttle will transport passengers directly to their vehicles.

Transportation Shuttle—PM: 

Monday through Friday, except major holidays, shuttles depart from 445 and 395 Lenox Road every 15 minutes from 2:00 p.m. until 12:15 a.m. The shuttle serves the transportation hubs and parking areas located at 355 Lenox Road, 324 Winthrop Street, and 600 Albany Avenue.
