Free Cardiac Risk Assessment Screening

To help patients assess their cardiovascular risk, the clinic staff performs a comprehensive cardiac risk assessment and obtains glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, height and weight measurements. All patients receive instructions on prevention, including nutrition and life-style modification as well as educational literature to promote heart health. If needed, patients are referred to Family Health Services, Center For Health Care Services at Bedford Stuyvesant, Department of Family Practice or to specialists in the field.
