University Hospital of Brooklyn has a long history of commitment to community health. Through the Center for Community Health Promotion and Wellness that was established in 1996, it participates in numerous commu

nity health promotion outreach activities in collaboration with senior citizen centers, churches/faith groups, community based organizations, public officials, local school districts, and business entities reaching approx. over 11,000 residents in the borough of Brooklyn.
