Types of Assistance

Loan: a 5% loan with an annual maximum of $4,000 and an aggregate of $13,000. Awards are based on financial need and the funds available at the school.

How to Apply

1. File the FAFSA for the current academic year.
2. Email the Financial Aid Office at financialaid@downstate.edu.
3. If awarded, accept the loan via Banner Self-service.
4. Complete the Master Promissory Note with the Bursar
