Life in Brooklyn

Brooklyn is the most populous of New York City's five boroughs, with about 2.6 million people and the second largest in area. Over the past decade Brooklyn has been recognized as an extremely desirable area to live. There are many distinct neighborhoods in the borough, each with its own vibrant personality. On your free time you will be able to enjoy the performing arts at the Brooklyn Academy of Music or see one of the largest public art collections in the country at the Brooklyn Museum of Art. If you want to enjoy the outdoors, Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Botanical Garden are only a few subway stops from the hospital. The food scene in Brooklyn has grown exponentially in Brooklyn and there are many delicious and affordable restaurants throughout the borough as well as food fairs and farmers' markets.

After all that, if you still desire the bright lights of Manhattan it is a just a train, bridge or bus away. Typically our residents live in Brooklyn in the Park Slope, Fort Greene, Prospect Heights or Windsor Terrace neighborhoods or some commute from Manhattan taking advantage of the reverse commute.
