Description of the educational aspects and advantage of the program |
Every effort is given to develop a fellow project which will result in an abstract that can be represented at one of the national Endocrine meetings at the end of the second year of fellowship. Active participation in Quality Improvement [QI] meetings give an opportunity for fellows to be part of health care improvement programs. Fellows will be encouraged to attend one national meeting during each academic year of their fellowship. A stipend is available to defray some of the cost of the meeting. Seniors all attend a Board Review Course as well as an Endocrine University Meeting at the Mayo Clinic. |
