Exploring Worker Rights: Paul Landsbergis on ‘Decent Work for Public Health’ in NIOSH Webinar
Paul Landsbergis, Ph.D., MPH, Associate Professor of Environmental and Occupational Health, was a guest on the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) webinar series, Total Worker Health. This series showcases research and case studies aimed at safeguarding workers’ safety and health. Dr. Landsbergis’ interview, which focused on ‘Decent Work for Public Health,’ reviewed the four pillars of rights at work and their implications for employment and social dialogue.
Dr. Beth R. Steinfeld Re-Appointed as Vice-President of the National Certification Corporation Board
Beth R. Steinfeld, DNP, WHNP-BC, FNYAM, was re-appointed as Vice-President of the National Certification Corporation (NCC) Board of Directors and Officers. The NCC is widely recognized for its national certification program, encompassing nurses, physicians, and various licensed healthcare professionals. Dr. Steinfeld has been an esteemed member of the NCC Board since 2021. In her capacity at Downstate, she holds the positions of Assistant Professor and Chair of Advanced Level Nursing Programs, along with her role as Program Director for the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Program.
