Brain Oscillations

We study electrophysiological disinhibition in alcoholics by examining the underlying neural oscillations and their synchrony during event-related potential (ERP) tasks as well as during the resting condition.

We are identifying neural oscillation patterns which reflect imbalances between excitation and inhibition in information processing of the human brain.
