Departmental Research Administrators (DRAs): Pre-Award*

DRAs are responsible for assisting researchers in the preparation and build of a grant application in the sponsors' system. They are also responsible for assisting researchers to ensure an inbound award is accurate prior to award establishment and assist the researcher in making any necessary changes to the award before the account is established.

Sponsored Programs Administrators (AORs): Pre-Award*

The AORs are responsible for the review and submission of all grant applications, including any communication with sponsors. They are also responsible for submitting progress reports, carryover requests and no-cost extensions. The Sponsored Programs Administrators are also responsible for award establishment.

Grant Management (GMs): Post-Award*

Grant Managers are responsible for the financial management of all sponsored awards. This includes assessing burn rate, review of expenditure activity quarterly, payment of subrecipient invoices and other financial management throughout the lifecycle of an award, including closeout.
