University Hospital of Brooklyn Nurses Shone Brightly at the Barclays Center

Downstate Medical Center, University of Brooklyn nurses, shone brightly at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn at Maimonides Medical Center 6thAnnual Nursing Research Conference on November 07, 2018. Nurses from the MICU and Stroke Center presented their evidence-based practice (EBP) projects:

  • Evidence-Based Strategies for Maintaining Zero Ventilator-Associated Events (Pneumonia) in MICU
  • Implementation of Evidence-Based Practices to Decrease Central-Line Associated Blood Stream Infections in MICU
  • Stroke Center and Academic Nursing Collaboration to Improve Patient Outcome
  • Prevention and Management of Pressure Injuries in the Critically Ill
