This modern facility offers a full range of services from primary to specialty care, comprehensive diagnostic services, an ambulatory surgery center and emergency services through the Emergency Care Center (formerly Acute Care Receiving Center).

University Hospital of Brooklyn is the teaching hospital of Downstate Medical Center serving the 3 million residents of Brooklyn, Staten Island, and beyond. This comprehensive 342 bed hospital provides approximately 150,000 ambulatory care visits per year in over 70 specialty clinics.

Central to the mission of University Hospital of Brooklyn is over 35 years of dedicated service to quality of patient care. In its Ambulatory Care setting, the Hospital takes responsibility for the health care needs of patients through a broad range of services ranging from primary care to highly specialized outpatient services.
