National Wellness Month:  This August, we celebrate National Wellness Month.  It is time to focus on self-care, managing stress, and building healthy routines. It is also the perfect opportunity to check in with yourself, prioritize your well-being, and explore new ways to stay physically, mentally, and emotionally balanced.  Whether it’s through daily movement, healthy eating, mindfulness, or simply taking breaks throughout your day, small intentional actions can make a big impact.  Your wellness matters!!!!! And it's not just for your own health, but for how you show up in your work and personal life. Take a moment this month to explore the resources shared in the August Frontline Newsletter and reach out to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for support, guidance, or just a listening ear. Let us take steps together toward a healthier, more resilient you!

EAP Frontline Newsletter:  We invite all staff to take a moment to read the August 2025 edition of the EAP Frontline Newsletter. This month’s issue is packed with timely wellness information and practical tools to support your personal and professional well-being. Highlights include tips for preventing heat exhaustion during summer work, the benefits of taking micro-breaks, how to manage energy for better productivity, the value of personal wellness in delivering great customer service, and steps to take if you suspect identity theft.  You will also find insights on promoting team morale and improving decision-making skills.  Explore these valuable resources and remember, your EAP is here to support you.

EAP Eyeglasses Drive: is taking place now until the end of the Summer.  The drop-off boxes are at the 450 Clarkson Avenue & 395 Lenox Rd entrances.  You may also stop by the EAP Office located at 811 Lenox Rd.  All donations will go to The Lions Club International.

National Wellness Month

Office of Mental Health (OMH) Wellness Group: is a supportive space designed to promote the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of all employees.  Whether you're looking to manage stress, build resilience, or simply take a moment for yourself, this group offers a welcoming environment to connect, share, and grow. Sessions may include mindfulness practices, wellness discussions, stress reduction strategies, and more. It is a great way to take care of yourself while connecting with others who value health and balance in the workplace. All employees are welcome to join, and no registration is necessary.
