Clearance of Tuition Bill
(If you have financial aid paying your full tuition bill)
Go to Banner Self Service
Enter your USERNAME and PASSWORD.
Click Student Billing
Select the term and click submit.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Clearance of Tuition Bill”.
Check the box to accept your charges for the term. Click the SUBMIT button.
If you have applied and accepted your financial aid and it does not appear on your account, please contact financialaid@downstate.edu for assistance
On-Line Tuition Bill Payment
(if you have an outstanding balance)
Go to Banner Self Service
Enter your USERNAME and PASSWORD.
Click Student Billing.
Select the term and click submit. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the
PROCEED button.
Note: If the Proceed button is not present, click on the Statement and Payment History link and then on the Payment Portal link that’s located at the very bottom of the page.
Once inside the payment gateway select the PAY button (located on the left side under Your Account)
Proceed to checkout.
A confirmation e-mail will be sent to your Downstate E-mail address once payment has
been confirmed.
