Vignette - Cultural Insensitivity

This video addresses issues of cultural insensitivity within the home care setting. The scenario shows an occupational therapist displaying a lack cultural sensitivity, as she does not show awareness and respect of cultural rituals within the client's home. The video also shows the therapist making an assumption about the client's ethnicity and using sweeping generalizations and stereotypes in her conversation.
