Program Director's Letter

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in the PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. Our program offers excellent education through a well-established collaboration between the Department of Pharmacy and the Division of Infectious Diseases. The resident will be trained by the faculty that thrive on teaching in an environment where a diverse patient population presents with a wide-range of infectious diseases providing unique and challenging daily experiences. Additionally, the resident will be involved in scholarly activities by conducting research and in teaching by delivering presentations and lectures to pharmacy students, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. We are committed to train the resident to become a competent clinician, leader, and educator. We are looking for candidates that are curious and passionate about infectious diseases.
