About: Sara Abu-Ghanem MD MMedSc is an otolaryngologist (ENT) with expertise in Laryngology: voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. She received her residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center and completed two years of clinical fellowship in Laryngology and Bronchoesophagology at Stanford University School of Medicine (California, USA) and New York University School of Medicine (New York, USA).

Richard Kollmar, PhD

Director of Basic Science Research

About: Dr. Kollmar earned his Diploma in Chemistry at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and the Max-Planck-Institute for Biochemistry in Martinsried. He earned his Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His postdoctoral training in sensory neuroscience was with Dr. A. J. Hudspeth at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and at Rockefeller University in New York.
