The State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Health Sciences University is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University designates this live activity for a maximum of 300 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The State University of New York has approved the Medical Acupuncture Program at Downstate as a non-credit certificate (HEGIS #5299) program meeting the 300-hours requirement to become a licensed practitioner of acupuncture in New York State.

This program is approved by the American Board of Medical Acupuncture as meeting the minimum educational standards for board certification with the ABMA.
