Admissions Requirements for Graduate Nursing Programs
Master of Science
- Family Nurse Practitioner

- Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
Family Nurse Practitoner: Masters of Science Track
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from a college or university institutionally accredited and recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) such as: the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, the Higher Learning Commission, the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
- A current, unencumbered New York State R.N. License
- One (1) year clinical experience post baccalaureate degree is preferred
- One (1) Letter of Recommendation from a supervisor who can comment on your clinical abilities and/or your potential success in graduate nursing education is preferred or a current/former college/university professor.
- A minimum undergraduate cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) card/certificate for BLS for Healthcare Provider or ACLS
Candidates may be called for an interview.
