Three Cheers for UHD’s 2023 Patient Safety and Quality Fair!

Last week, excited UHD staff presented their innovative ideas to help make patient care safer and discussed projects to improve our policies, processes, and practices. UHD’s third annual Patient Safety and Quality Fair was a dynamic in-person event (for the first time since COVID). It was packed with speakers, games, and an incredible keynote presentation titled “Improving Quality: Lessons from Washington DC,” by The Honorable David J. Shulkin, M.D., Ninth Secretary U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Congratulations and great thanks to all who participated in the Patient Safety and Quality Fair to help us find ways to deliver the highest quality, patient-centered care.

Three rousing cheers go out to the Patient Safety and Quality Fair coordinators, and poster competition participants highlighting innovations for patient safety, process improvement, or quality improvement projects.
