College of Nursing Winter Convocation

The College of Nursing held its winter 2022 Convocation, Pinning, and Awards ceremony last month. One hundred and three graduating new nurses were pinned, and awards were presented to students who excelled clinically and academically. It was a wonderful tribute to our students in a warm year-end celebration!
Even more exciting, the College of Nursing announced its first international Doctor of Nursing Practice Program graduate. Dr. Blandine Jean-Louis is a family nurse practitioner whose goal is to use her degree to develop a DNP program for family nurse practitioners in Haiti.
The College of Nursing also held a White Coat Ceremony, welcoming nearly 150 new students into the Nursing Profession at both the entry and advanced levels.
Congratulations to all the students, faculty, staff, and Dr. Lori Escallier, Dean of the College of Nursing, for a fantastic 2022, and much to look forward to in 2023.
