2024 IACUC Meeting Dates and Protocol Submission Deadlines

Due to the time involved reviewing materials prior to distribution to the IACUC Members, all IACUC submissions must be received by the submission deadline in order to be reviewed at the upcoming meeting. All protocol applications must be emailed to the IACUC Office as a Microsoft word document. Current forms are found here.

The IACUC review process cannot be expedited or modified per federal regulation (NOT-02-0064),(PHS Policy Section IV.C.2). The IACUC may choose to review any submission at a convened meeting. These submissions are designated as Full Committee Review (FCR). Submissions of increased complexity and concern have a higher likelihood of being designated for FCR.

* Meeting dates are subject to change without notice if circumstances require rescheduling.

Note: All animal use submissions received by the submission deadline must be accepted by the IACUC Administrator for completeness before it will be confirmed for review at the earliest IACUC meeting. If significant items from the administrative and veterinary pre-review remain unresolved prior to the convened meeting, the protocol may be removed from the agenda until these items are addressed. Submissions that remain in the same status during the review process for more than 90 days will be administratively withdrawn to maintain the integrity of the review.
