Statement from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University - Social Media Posts Attributed to a Downstate Employee

Dec 22, 2014

We are aware that there are offensive comments about the shooting of Officers Liu and Ramos that have been attributed to a SUNY Downstate employee.

The individual to whom these comments were attributed is not an employee of SUNY Downstate.

Our thoughts and sympathies go out to the families of the two officers and the entire NYPD family.
