By Employee Assistance Program | Mar 9, 2026
Wellness Reminder
As we move into March, take a moment to focus on your overall well-being. This month is a great opportunity to reset, recharge, and prioritize your health. Make time for small daily habits that support physical, mental, and emotional wellness, such as staying active, getting enough rest, practicing mindfulness, and connecting with supportive people in your life. Remember that taking care of yourself is essential to maintaining balance and performing at your best both personally and professionally.
NYS EAP Frontline Newsletter
The March Frontline Employee newsletter focuses on strategies to support employee well-being and manage everyday stress. Topics include recognizing empathy overload when working with clients, incorporating short “exercise snacks” to boost energy, maintaining healthy sleep habits, and identifying background stress and early signs of burnout. In recognition of Problem Gambling Awareness Month, the newsletter also highlights warning signs of gambling addiction and encourages employees to seek support through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
WellNYS Everyday Webinars
WELLNYS Everyday invites you to join them for an upcoming webinar "What are GPL-1 Medication and Does the New York State Health Insurance Program (NSHIP) Pay for it, March 11th at 12:00 noon and "Protein! In All its Glory", March 25th at Noon.
Wellness Group
The Wellness Group is a supportive space designed to promote the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of all employees. Whether you are looking to manage stress, build resilience, or simply take a moment for yourself, this group offers a welcoming environment to connect, share, and grow. Sessions may include mindfulness practices, wellness discussions, stress reduction strategies, deep breathing, and more. Group sessions offer a warm, inviting space that fosters relaxation virtually and provides examples of calming techniques and basic coping skills. Remember that the mind and body are one, and psychological health is just as important as physical health to your overall well-being. The group sessions are free, confidential, and anonymous, and virtual employees can call in from any phone. All employees are welcome to join, and no registration is necessary.
“Your health, peace of mind, and balance matter. Small steps toward wellness today create a stronger, healthier tomorrow.”
