Celebrate Patient Safety Week with presentations highlighting our patient safety,
process improvement, and quality improvement projects at the Patient Safety and Quality Fair. On Thursday, March 12, our staff, students, and faculty will share their ideas and best practices to improve
patient care.
Our Patient Safety and Quality Fair will be a dynamic event, packed with speakers, games, and an incredible panel discussion titled “When Inequity Becomes Harmful: Health Equity as a Patient Safety Imperative” moderated by Carla Boutin-Foster, M.D., MS, Associate Vice President, Office For Institutional Equity at Downstate. There will also be an insightful keynote presentation given by Hillary Jalon, MS, Vice President and Chief Quality Officer for NYC Health + Hospitals titled “Culture Eats Strategy”.
