In Observance of Ramadan
By Office of Communications & Marketing | Feb 17, 2026
With the beginning of Ramadan on the evening of Tuesday, February 17, 2026 (concluding on Thursday, March 19, 2026), we extend our heartfelt wishes for a blessed
and peaceful observance to all members of our Downstate community who are observing.
Ramadan is a time of spiritual renewal, self-reflection, and deepened faith. Through fasting, prayer, and acts of kindness, this sacred month fosters compassion, generosity, and service to others. It is a meaningful period to uplift one another, strengthen community bonds, and reaffirm the core values of respect, peace, and love that unite us all.
As the only month of Ramadan begins, may it bring strength, renewal, and fulfillment in faith. May this season also bring blessings to all of humanity and inspire a shared commitment to peace, understanding, and harmony.
Wishing you a meaningful and blessed Ramadan.
