Nursing Student Council

The Nursing Student Council is concerned with the interests and welfare of the various nursing programs at Downstate (DNP, FNP, WHNP, ABSN, RN-BSN.) Currently, there are 7 members on the council. The main council is composed of the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. These positions are followed by 2 respective Program Representatives and the University Council Representative. 

The council hosts and funds all major College of Nursing activities including Orientation, White Coat ceremony, Pinning ceremony, and Convocation. The council is also a host of social and educational activities such as Career Day.
