Services for Third and Fourth Year Medical Year Students

  • Individual counseling in study skills, test taking and time management is provided for all third and fourth year medical students. Counseling sessions pertain to the different learning skills needed to succeed in the clinical years, particularly the third year clerkship shelf exams and the Step 2 licensing exam. Students self-refer or are referred by faculty or staff.
  • Group tutorials given by residents or upperclass medical student tutors are offered to third- and fourth-year students to assist them in preparing for shelf examinations.
