MPH in Epidemiology

This program will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to carry out epidemiologic investigations of major public health issues affecting urban and immigrant populations. Didactic training and fieldwork emphasize skill in the planning and implementation of epidemiologic study designs; the collection and analysis of data; the interpretation and presentation of findings and discussion of public health implications.

MPH in Biostatistics

The primary objective of the MPH in Biostatistics is to provide a strong foundation in Public Health with a focus on quantitative methods. Students choosing this Concentration should have a strong aptitude for quantitative reasoning and methods with a focus on public health. 

DrPH in Epidemiology

The Doctor of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology is intended to prepare students for advanced leadership positions as epidemiologists. Students will gain the skills and knowledge essential to plan and conduct applied epidemiologic research as independent investigators. 

Advanced Certificate Program in Public Health Geriatrics

The Advanced Certificate Program in Public Health Geriatrics is offered completely online with some courses offered in a completely asynchronous format and others in “live” sessions for students to interact directly with peers and instructors in real time. It is geared towards students who are interested in health and social issues that are relevant to the aging population at the local, national, and global levels.
